Nigel Richards (famed for his role as The Phantom & Quasimodo)
pianist Kenneth Teh
Musical Theatre, at its best, reaches passions that the word alone cannot. Its greatest roles are about passionate winners and losers, of people on passionate paths. Who better to interpret them than Nigel Richards, an internationally acclaimed singer, actor, and educator in Musical Theatre. Come join him in an evening of passionate music from Phantom of the Opera, Les Misérables, Chicago, Carousel and many more.
Nigel has played Quasimodo (The Hunchback of Notre Dame), the Phantom (Phantom of The Opera), Enjolras (Les Miserables), Dan (in Kurt Weill's Songs from a Hotel Bedroom), Duke Frederick (As You Like It) and many other roles in international productions. He has been a soloist in the BBC Proms at London’s Royal Albert Hall, and is the proud voice in a 2009 award-winning CD titled A shining Truth.
